Persons who have signed up to participate in this year’s International Coastal Clean up are reminded to collect their cleaning up resources from the Alexander Hamilton Museum by today, Friday, September 13. These resources include gloves, clip boards, bags, data entry forms

Tomorrow, Saturday, September 15 2018, the Nevis Historical and Conservation Society will host the 26th Annual Nevis Coastal Clean-up. This island-wide volunteer activity will run from approximately 7:00 a.m. to noon at various locations throughout the island.

Volunteers will clean the debris from wide stretches of Nevis shorelines, borders and other popular areas in an effort to reduce significant debris from entering the oceans.

The Nevis Coastal Clean-up is Nevis’ main contribution to the International Coastal Clean-up each year. This event is the world’s largest single day volunteer effort when volunteers are mobilised to clean up the beaches and waterways.
