The event, hailed as “A Stitch in Time” will feature Kittitian songbirds including Shakki, Rolhensha, Empress Livity and Queen Anastasia. World-class reggae and dancehall personalities Lady Saw, Cecile, Alaine, Queen Ifrica and Tanya Stephens will also set the stage ablaze with headlining energetic performances.
The event is being organised by Pandas Entertainment which has stated that their vision is to recognize and celebrate the accomplishments of women in the Federation of St. Kitts and Nevis and the wider Caribbean. Their Spokesman Mr. Wayne Clarke outlined that “We would also like to highlight the overall positive impact and contributions of women in our nation.” The name stitch in time, Clarke said, was inspired by Masud Sadiki’s heart-wrenching tune by the same name that aims to end violence against women.
Kittitian personality, Sister Sensia and comedienne, Rachel Price of Trinidad and Tobago, will serve as co-hosts for the night of musical splendour. Also the Gumption Band of Jamaica, Royalties Band and DJ Ronnie Rascal will electrify the audience and add flavour to the already exciting extravaganza.
Prior to the entertainment delight on October 28th, the artists will visit the educational institutions throughout the Federation to speak on issues that plague our society
The Musical affair is being made possible by ZIZ Broadcasting Corporation, Digicel, Rum Barrel, Sprat Net, Avis Car Rental, St. Kitts, Nevis & Anguilla National Bank, Shiggidy Shack and Brown Hill Communications.
