Sheikh Abdullah and Douglas discussed during the meeting cooperation, business and investment opportunities in both countries.
The UAE FM welcomed St. Kitts and Nevis PM and the delegation accompanying him, stressing that such visits contribute in strengthening the cooperation and friendship between the two countries.
On his part, Douglas expressed his pleasure about visiting the UAE, indicating that his country was looking forward to bolstering ties with the UAE in the best interest of two peoples. He hailed the urban development being experienced by the UAE, making it the international hub for investments.
The UAE and the State of St. Kitts and Nevis signed a joint communique last June on establishing the official diplomatic relations between the two countries at the level of ambassadors.
Present was Abdullah Ali Al Saboosi, Director of the Department of American and Pacific Affairs at the Foreign Ministry.
Sheikh Abdullah also received Ambassador Terje Rod-Larsen President of International Peace Academy, United Nations Special Envoy. They discussed the regional and international developments of the Palestinian issue and efforts exerted to achieve peace in the region.
