Representatives of the Council of all the branches of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of the Eastern Caribbean (ICAEC) successfully completed the review of the Operations Manual which will guide the future operations of the Institute.

It will also lead to quality assurance and continuous training of accounting and auditing professionals in the region.

The representatives met at the Eastern Caribbean Central Bank Headquarters, St Kitts and Nevis from 2nd to 3rd August, to review the draft Operations Manual. The preparation of an Operations Manual for the ICAEC is one of the major deliverables of a World Bank sponsored project to strengthen the capacity of the ICAEC.

The finalisation and implementation of the Operations Manual is expected before the end of 2012.
