Prince Edward and his wife, Princess Sophie, are expected to arrive here in St. Kitts, at Port Zante, about 9:00am on Saturday, 3rd March, 2012, and will then be greeted by the Governor General.
At 10:00am, the couple, along with the various officials, will then make their way to the vicinity of airport roundabout, where the Prince and Princess will participate in the renaming of the Basseterre Valley Aquifer.
The parade will then unveil a plan for a renamed National Park at about 10:45.
At 12:00 noon the group will make its way to Brimstone Hill Fortress, where the Royal Fleet will be given a tour of the fortification, and along with Sir Probyn Inniss, former Governor of St. Kitts and Nevis, will unveil a plaque.
The Earl and Countess of Wessex at 3:15 will make a visit to the Children’s Home before making their way to Government House where they would be treated to a State Dinner, to be hosted by the Governor General at 9:30PM.
A fireworks display at Port Zante, will put a cap on the activities.
The visit is part of a Caribbean tour by the couple, in honour of the Diamond Jubilee Celebrations, of Queen Elizabeth the Second.
