The aim of the rally is to bring all youth organizations, service groups, government and non government stakeholders in a partnership against crime and violence to be addressed at the national level.
“The Anguilla Summer Festival is a time when family, friends and visitors come to our country to enjoy themselves in a peaceful and friendly atmosphere. It is also important for us as a tourism destination to stamp out all forms of violence which may lead to serious injury or death. It is with this concern in mind that this initiative has been birthed to unite the various organizations to march against crime,” the announcement read.
The rally is slated for Friday, 22 July 2011.
