According to one neighbour of the victim, “at least some progress is being made to find those responsible”.
For many residents “such speedy arrests are comforting because it is time that criminals begin to understand that when they commit a crime they will be found and made to answer for their actions,” explained the neighbour who asked not to be identified.
It took police just one day after the homicide of Denzil Flemming, to follow the leads that took them to the three suspects that are now being held for questioning in the incident that occurred while the victim was about to enter his residence.
Police sources in Nevis indicated on Friday that, armed with warrants, they went in search of their suspects in the Cotton Ground area of the island, where they found and arrested the men.
