Artistes still to be paid for CPL Mega Concert

Speaking with MiyVue.com, local superstar Kervin ‘Infamus’ Benjamin said he is definitely going to take legal action against the organisers.

“Well basically we are going to seek legal actions and I am trying to see the best way to do it, because you know you really can’t get legal against the government anyway and CPL ain’t on island,” Benjamin explained.

The entertainer noted that they were contracted via emails of which he responded, thus making the contract a binding agreement.

“We were contracted via email… and we responded via email,” Infamus said.

The local singer stated that no one from the organizing committee has made contact with him as it relates to his payment.

Just recently, Benjamin took to a popular Social Media site to vent his disgust at the non-payment of dues for his performance at the Caribbean Premier League’s Mega concert which featured Grammy award winning artiste Rick Ross.

According to Benjamin in a recent interview, they were informed that after performing they would receive payment on Monday19th August after the tournament was completed.
