Speaking with miyvue.com, Athletes Foot Manager Larry Gopal explained that there was a Back to School promotion after which a raffle was held. The result of the raffle held on October 1^st saw winners receiving, 1^st prize of a laptop, 2^nd prize an Ipod and 3^rd a cell phone.

According to Gopal, the cost of the prizes was nothing to mention because the support from the Kittitian public has been overwhelming over the past decade.

Both Athletes Foot and The Polo Company started business in St. Kitts in 2000.
