Reports reaching MiyVue.com indicate that sometime during the evening of Friday, 17th December, 2010, two masked men who are said to have been armed, illegally entered the building that houses Carib Brewery reportedly with intentions of stealing.

MiyVue.com understands that the robbers’ attempts were thwarted when on-duty security officers took note of the disturbance and alerted the authorities.

Police reportedly responded and conducted preliminary investigations, however, no suspects are in custody.

MiyVue contacted the Press and Public Relations Officer to the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force, Inspector Vaughan Henderson, to confirm that the incident had taken place and to give details but he informed that he was occupied and promised to make contact with this media house within an hour and a half’s time but that was not forthcoming.

Subsequently, this media house made several attempts to contact Henderson but all proved futile.

MiyVue however understands that the authorities are making investigations into the incident.
