Dressed in a gorgeous, jeweled-encrusted leotard, she performed a 15-minute medley of cuts from her self-titled album, which included “Mine,” “Ghost” “Blow” and “No Angel.” She also turned up the heat with sensual performances of “Blow,” “Partition” and “Drunk In Love.”
The best part of her set, unexpectedly, happened during “Flawless.” The cameras panned over to Blue who was captured miming her mommy’s hand movements, and what better way for Bey to end her set than to perform “Blue,” dedicated to her daughter?
Afterward, Jay got up on stage with Blue and presented Beyonce, who he proclaimed as “the greatest living entertainer,” with the Michael Jackson Vanguard Award! Bey’s speech was short, and almost overshadowed by her Blue who was clapping, talking into the mic and waving at the screaming crowd below. Too much preciousness for one damn night!
