In her leisure time Ishelka enjoys playing Tennis and Netball. She is also a member of the teen challenge club at her school.
As the saying goes “Leaders are made and not born”, therefore Ishelka can contentedly say that through hard work, she is a leader and will achieve all her goals and aspirations.
She finds personal strength in the following motto “Be strong and of good courage.” It is through the powerful lesson of these words that she can say with confidence that no matter what comes her way, she can always count on Jesus to guide and protect her, and that she needs to have courage to conquer the many trials and tribulations of life.
She believes that the family is the foundation of life; hence it is with pride that she represents the platform “Health and Family Life”. It aims to motivate and inspire people to make healthy lifestyle choices, to strengthen the family from the inside, and to rekindle the universal family values in the youths and ensure a bright and prosperous future for our country.
Her future career goal is to be a doctor. We are living in a world where occurrences of sicknesses and diseases are on the increase. Therefore, her chosen field would definitely be an asset. As a conscientious citizen and a future leader of her country, she has chosen to take on this responsibility and serve the people of her federation to improve and raise the standard of our medical health care system.
Ishelka is contestant number six in the pageant that will be held on the 4th of March, 2011, at 8pm at the Carnival Village.
