The programme entitled “Potential Plenty,” aired at 8:00 p.m. on ZIZ Television and showcased prospective entrepreneurship activities that can take place in the communities of the Parish. These included eco-tourism prospects, ranging from turtle-watching and jewelry- making, to bed and breakfast accommodation and the sale of food.
Key stakeholders explained the process that included UNESCO National Commission Secretary General Antonio Maynard, as well as representatives from the Ministry of Education, under which the affairs of UNESCO falls, the Ministry of Sustainable Development and Physical Planning and the St. Kitts Sea Turtle Monitoring Network along with residents of the area.
The Documentary also featured picturesque scenes of the area along the Keys Beach, the nearby hillside as well as images of the wildlife including turtles and endangered birds.
