Police reports on Saturday morning indicate that the body has been identified as that of 52 year old Cheryl Browne of Upper Fiennes Avenue, Basseterre.

Members of the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force found the body floating at the sea shore near the Cenotaph this morning about 6:05 am. 

Police were out searching for Browne who was reported by the JN France Hospital as having left against medical advice last night. The extensive overnight search ended when her body was recovered by police this morning.

Police have indicated that an autopsy will be performed to formally determine the cause of death.
