Brown, 23, arrived in Bermuda at 1:30pm on board a private plane, which touched down in the island on a routine stop to refuel.
But, according to an unconfirmed report in the Bermuda Sun, there appeared to have been an altercation on board with the American R&B singer’s bodyguard “Big Pat”.
An airport worker told the publication: “I’m not sure of the details of what happened on the plane, but his plane came in, got serviced and everything was finishing and they were getting ready to leave.
“Then there was a stall. The security guard got off first. He was standing outside talking to the pilot. Then Chris Brown and another guy came off.
“They had to come inside to Customs. They then went outside to have a cigarette. The security guard came inside [an airport building] and said he wasn’t getting back on the plane.”
The airport worker said the man told him he had gotten into an altercation with Brown, the report continued.
“Chris went back through Customs and the plane left at about 2:20pm.”
The Sun was told that Big Pat made arrangements to leave on Jet Blue’s afternoon flight to JFK and was seen boarding the aircraft.
Brown’s anger-related issues are well documented.
Big Pat was injured last June at WIP Club in New York during an altercation between Brown and rapper Drake. He was hit with a bottle and suffered a gash to his head during the incident.
Brown reportedly punched and threatened to shoot singer Frank Ocean during a fight over a parking space at a West Hollywood studio in January.
The “Turn Up The Music” star’s attack on his then-girlfriend, Barbadian superstar Rihanna, over the 2009 Grammy weekend, continues to haunt the recently reconciled couple.
