Weltklasse organisers say Bolt is unable to compete in their 100-metre race “due to a particularly strenuous schedule” at worlds.

Bolt is slated to defend his 100m and 200m titles in Daegu and Jamaica’s 4x100m relay gold medal.

Asafa Powell and Walter Dix are set to highlight the 100 line-up at Zurich, which stages the first half of the Diamond League finals programme.

Bolt is expected to run the 200m when Brussels hosts the second half eight days later.
