On Saturday Brijesh Lawrence, who is fast becoming a world class sprinter, had an A Standard qualifier in the Men’s 100m.
In doing so, Lawrence broke his school record (Doane College) which he previously held with a time of 10.28s in 2011 and brought it down to 10.12s.
Lawrence now has the 6th fastest time in the world for the 2012 season and has solidified his position as the 2nd fastest person to exist from St. Kitts and Nevis.
Brijesh also won the 200m in a time of 20.62 seconds. His lifetime best accomplished in 2011 (20.59s) is the B qualifying standard for the 2012 London Olympic Games.
An official from the St Kitts Nevis Amateur Athletic Association has extended hearty congratulations to Brisjesh Lawrence as he continues to excel in his scholastic and athletic endeavours.
Lawrence was a member of the bronze medaling 4X100meter St. Kitts and Nevis team in 2011.
