This was again proven at the Youth Commonwealth Games, now taking place in the Isle of Man, when on Sunday, 11th September, 2011, the federation claimed another medal among top nations of the world.
The latest triumph was experienced when Adrian Williams picked up a Bronze Medal in the Men’s Javelin Throw.
The Nevisian stormed to a Bronze medal in the Games with a throw of 63.02m, behind silver medallists Luke Cann of Australia with 75.21m, and gold medallist Morne Moolman of South Africa, with a throw of 81.53m.
J’Anthon Crivon Silliday also of St. Kitts & Nevis placed eight in the same event.
The bronze medal is Adrian’s second major medal of the year after he claimed the gold at the 2011 CARIFTA Games earlier this year in Jamaica.
