This workshop is an extension of the activities implemented by the Advisory Committee for the St. Kitts and Nevis National Cultural Policy funded by the UNESCO National Commission to inform Artists and Practitioners who provide support services in the Music Industry about best practices.
This initiative is designed to empower artists with a working knowledge of critical areas in the music business such as Agreements used in the music industry, music publishing and right of publicity.
It is with this in mind, that the Department has organized the workshop and is urging all artists to make use of this great opportunity to build their capacity by arming themselves with the knowledge to avoid exploitation and the pitfalls of the music entertainment business, said Creighton Pencheon, Director of Culture
He said that all interested participants must register at St. Kitts Department of Culture to confirm their attendance and secure a spot at the workshop by Wednesday 26th October.
