Can William Connor hold its championship?

Basseterre, St. Kitts, 18th March, 2018 ( – At the end of the first day of the RAMS sponsored Primary School Championship, being held at the Kim Collins Athletics Stadium, defending champion Dr. William Connor Primary School was holding its own at the meet.

Leading the 12-school championship, the Dr. William Connor Primary School was ahead with 13 points, with 6 gold medals, 2 silver and 5 bronze.

Just behind with 12 points was the Sandy Point Primary School, having won 4 gold medals, six silver and 2 bronze.

In third position was Cayon Panthers Primary School with 7 points that included 1 gold medal, 2 silver and 4 bronze.

It is expected that Sandy Point will be going all out on Sunday, 18th March, in an attempt to dethrone the defending champion.

Day 2 events will include hurdles, the 100-metre final, relay races and the 400-metre final.
