Though the competition was held almost six weeks ago, Carnival Queen Iantavian Queeley and her five fellow participants have continued to make joint appearances at various social events and activities, many which were planned and organized between themselves.
The latest outing for the Kittitian beauties was a night at the movies, where the group was hosted by the management of Caribbean Cinemas. According to a spokesman for the entertainment facility, they agreed to host the entourage, in recognition of the outstanding performances that they delivered during the pageant.
The company representative went on to say that the gesture was also in line with their ongoing program to give back to the Kittitian community that has demonstrated its firm support for the establishment since it opened its doors only a few years ago.
Before proceeding to enjoy their selected film, Queen Iantavian, First Runner-Up Abigail Liburd, Second Runner-Up Judy Dupont, and fellow delegates Micheleina Charles-Hazelle and Kimani Phillip, took the opportunity to pose for photographs with local Caribbean Cinemas Manager, Ms. Valerie Nisbett and other fans who were gathered. Unfortunately, a previously scheduled engagement prevented songstress Rolhensha Henry from joining her colleagues, but she did not allow the moment to pass without calling the ladies one final time to wish them an enjoyable evening.
The Movies Night was held last Saturday 29th January, immediately following the Prize Giving Ceremony for National Carnival winners and it was organized by the online media organization, MiyVue.com, as part of the appreciation activities for the participation of the then contestants in the MiyVue.com Best Radio & Television Competitions.
