In a brief presentation ceremony at Digicel head offices, Ms. Phipps made the presentation on behalf of the other Digicel Haynes Smith Queens before her, of a portrait of herself, following the coronation at the pageant in December.
The presentation was made to the Marketing Manager of Digicel Mrs. Marsha Chatterjee.
Phipps stated, “Digicel has given a number of girls before me an opportunity beyond being in the spotlight; it is an opportunity to show your talent so that people can know what you are capable of, and the opportunity to become a role model for many people to come.”
She also added that Digicel’s sponsorship of the show was deeply appreciated.
Digicel’s Marketing Manager Mrs. Marsha Chatterjee outlined that as title sponsors they are very proud of Siobhan’s achievements and congratulated her.
Chatterjee said that they were asked to be here for the presentation and it came as a surprise to them.
On the night of the event, Siobhan was presented with a Blackberry Torch and a laptop, compliments Digicel. She also received a travel pack today.
Country Manager for Digicel Mr. Sean Latty also congratulated Siobhan and wished her the best in her future endeavours.
