This is the 15th year of the event which is mainly organized and sponsored by the Government of St. Kitts and Nevis.
Host teams, St. Kitts and Nevis will engage each other in the opening match at Warner Park, on Wednesday 24th August.
Matches will be played at grounds in both Nevis and St. Kitts. These will include the Elquemedo Willett Park in Charlestown, the Conaree Sporting Complex and the Edgar Gilbert Sporting Complex in Molineux.
Other matches scheduled for Thursday 25th, will see Nevis Playing Barbados, in Nevis; Dominica against a St. Kitts Development Team at Warner Park; and Anguilla will clash with the main St. Kitts team, in Conaree.
Matches will continue on the 26th, 27th, 28th and 29th August.
An Opening Ceremony for the tournament was held on Wednesday (24th August), at the Players Pavilion at the Warner Park Stadium.
The gathering was addressed by Permanent Secretary of Sport Curt Lewis, President of the St. Kitts Cricket Association,Mr. Cosbert Manchester, Sports Director for Nevis, Mr. Lincoln Barry, team representatives and chief coordinator, Mr. Vernon Springer.
According to Springer, the tournament has already produced at least two players on the West Indies Cricket Team.
