This essentially is the theme around which the activities for the 2012 Financial Information Month will be organized by the bank, starting in October.
The ECCB has stepped up its preparations, two months ahead, in order to deliver another successful period of activities, with a heavy emphasis on education and awareness about financial matters that should be of concern to all residents of the sub-region.
The Eastern Caribbean Central Bank in collaboration with the Financial Institutions throughout the Federation is also seeking the support of the national media to help reach their target audiences. The bank has therefore organized a consultation with local media representatives for later this month. Media houses have been invited to share in a presentation and discussion on the activities to mark Financial Information Month 2012, on Thursday 9th August.
A spokesperson for the ECCB has indicated that “Having recognised that innovation and best practices are central to our economy, FIM 2012 is being celebrated under the theme- Challenge Yourself: Innovate – Compete –Succeed!
