A release from the Eastern Caribbean Central Bank (ECCB), organizers of the event, explained that the sessions will be practical and interactive and cover a range of topics including: Personal Financial Planning; How to Protect Oneself Against Financial Risk and Types of Investment Instruments.
The overall objective is to help create wealth amongst Kittitians and Nevisians, through financial education.
It will be the 16th of such courses organized by the financial institution, giving residents of St Kitts and Nevis another opportunity to improve their understanding of financial matters.
Four hundred and fifty (450) persons in the Federation have graduated from the course since it was first offered in 2004. The graduates have been able to arm themselves with practical knowledge on how to better manage their finances, make sound investments and increase their personal wealth, said the ECCB in a release.
The ECCB executes its Savings and Investments Course in collaboration with the University of the West Indies Open Campus – St Kitts and Nevis and the Clarence Fitzroy Bryant College. Persons wishing to participate in the course can register at University of the West Indies Open Campus, The Gardens, Basseterre.
