Some 400 delegates are expected to be here representing the 71 countries which make up the CGF.
A number of events have already begun such as the Caribbean National Olympic Committees (CANOC) Training and Education Commission, which began Monday 7th November and continued on Tuesday 8th with an executive board meeting.
On Wednesday 9th November the CANOC executive will conduct its General Assembly preceding the Commonwealth Games Assembly.
The official CGF events kick off on Thursday 10th November at 9:00 am with a CGF Seminar and workshops which would later in the evening be followed by the official opening ceremony.
Prime Minister Dr. Denzil Douglas will give the Featured Address. The Opening Ceremony will also include a Cultural Extravaganza which will include local performances by Masud Sadiki, Queen Anastasia, Vivace Dance Company and local Folklore.
From 9:00am to 6:00 pm on Friday 11th November, the CGF General Assembly will take place at the Marriot Hotel Ballroom, where a new CGF executive will be elected and also the host city for the 2018 games will also be voted on. Then later that day a Farewell Dinner will take place.
The CGF Meetings will conclude on Saturday 12th November with an Executive Meeting.
