Children’s Dance Theatre Preparing for “Christmas By De Bus Stop”

Over the past couple months the young and talented dancers from the Children’s Dance Theatre, CDT, have been investing extra time and energy to perfect their routines, ahead of their major production, scheduled for Saturday 17th and Sunday 18th December, at the Sir Cecil Jacob’s Auditorium, at the Eastern Caribbean Central Bank, in Bird Rock.

A spokesman for the group has indicated that they have been working assiduously to illuminate the halls of the auditorium with a production that will leave a lasting impression on the minds of all dance lovers.

The spokesperson confirmed that more than one hundred (100) performing artists will grace the stage, to present a powerful and artistic recital dubbed “CHRISTMAS BY DE BUS STOP”.

“The goal of this production, said the CDT spokesperson, is to showcase the talents of our dancers as multi-faceted budding performing artists. This has been an amazing year for the Theatre and we are so eager to present an enjoyable and high caliber recital that we have been working on for several months.”

The CDT is now in its 22nd year and continues to serve as one of the Federation’s longest standing institutions promoting the performing arts

Recognizing the huge costs associated with the successful staging of such a production, the CDT has already started to pay tribute to its sponsors, including, National Bank, a long serving supporter of CDT.

The spokesperson indicated that National has confirmed its willingness to provide sponsorship for this year’s Christmas recital.  As a result National has been designated a Five Star Sponsor of ‘Christmas by De Bus Stop’.
