This year, organizers have selected the theme, “Food Prices-From Crisis to Stability”. Other main events that form part of the packed schedule of activities, include an Agricultural Food Fair on Saturday 15th; donation of gardening tools and food hampers to the Children’s Home and Cardin Home, on Wednesday 19th; the Annual Farmers and Fishers Prize Giving Ceremony at the Dept. of Agriculture Grounds, on Thursday 20th October; and a Tree Planting Exercise at the Verchilds High School on Friday 21st October.

Members of the organizing team will also be featured on various radio talk shows and interviews during the period of celebrations.
These are to include appearances on Freedom radio’s “Issues”-Friday 14th; Breakfast with Toni on WINN FM on Tuesday 18th; and ZIZ Radio’s Prime Talk on Thursday 20th October, when a live Panel Discussion will he held.
