The weeklong conference, set to culminate on Monday 14th August 2011, is organised by the Caribbean Healthy Lifestyle Programme (C-HLP); Club Sugar City.
Participating young people are representing Anguilla, Antigua & Barbuda; Dominica, Grenada, Guyana, Jamaica, St. Kitts & Nevis, St. Lucia, St. Maarten, St. Vincent & the Grenadines, and Trinidad and Tobago.
The youths will employ their energies in a number of discussions and activities. These include Planning Your Life’s Journey, Building the Road, Presentation Techniques, HIV/AIDS Education, Inter-Group Sports, Bon Fire and Tours.
The conference seeks:

1. To instil the value of maintaining a healthy lifestyle among Caribbean youth, while promoting peer leadership skills and a sense of social responsibility.
- To create a forum for young people to voice their opinions and to be listened to their peers and by adults.
- To raise awareness among the youth of the benefits of regular physical activity and to increase opportunities for Caribbean youth to participate in sport related activities.
The official Opening Ceremony is slated for Monday 8th August (tomorrow) at 7:30pm and a Panel Discussion on Thursday 11th starting at 7:30pm.
The program’s slogan is “Your Life, Your Health, Make it right”
