Commissioner of Police Expresses Appreciation

In a statement, issued to the media on Wednesday 4th May, 2011, the Commissioner extended, on behalf of his family, appreciation and gratitude to the rank and file of the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force and the general public for their love, support, prayers and understanding during their time of bereavement, since the tragic passing of his son Laustin Jamie Williams on Wednesday 6th April 2011.

Williams said that he especially wanted to thank those who made the extra sacrifice and journeyed from abroad to attend the funeral to give support and show their solidarity.

According to Commissioner Williams, “healing is very slow, we are trying our best to live life as normal, but things will never be the same without Jamie. We really appreciate the fact that our friends and well wishers have respected our space and are giving us healing time. We want them to know we love them and really appreciate their love and support.”
