Comprehensive Disaster Management is special topic on Working for You on Wednesday, August 22


Basseterre, St. Kitts, August 21, 2018 (SKNIS)—National Disaster Coordinator, Mr. Abdias Samuel, and Public Relations Officer (PRO) at the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), Ms. Vesta Southwell, are the special guests on the weekly radio and television programme “Working for You” on Wednesday, August 22, 2018. The discussion will focus on comprehensive disaster management, which includes management of environmental hazards such as hurricanes, earthquakes and tsunamis. The National Disaster Plan will be discoursed and lessons learned from the 2017 Atlantic Hurricane Season among other
pertinent issues will be discussed.
