This is according to the Caribbean Tourism Organisation (CTO), which held its annual summit in Barbados on Wednesday, 2nd March, 2011.
According to a BBC Caribbean report, the CTO announced that things are looking up with arrival increases in the numbers of tourists visiting the Caribbean, hotels are seeing their revenues gradually increase and they are expecting further growth this year,
CTO chairman, Ricky Skerrit of St Kitts and Nevis, said barring any international or regional unforeseen economic or social trauma in 2011, the indicators of Caribbean tourism performance should continue to move in a positive direction.
