Damon Wayans ”Just Doesn’t Believe” Bill Cosby Rape Allegations, Thinks Scandal Is a “Money Hustle”

During a sit-down interview with Power 105.1’s The Breakfast Club Friday morning, the comedian was asked about the allegations surrounding Cosby. Wayans quickly made it clear that he doesn’t believe all of the women coming forward.

“I just don’t believe it,” he shared. “I think it’s a money hustle.”

He continued, “If I was [Cosby], I would divorce my wife, wink-wink, give her all my money and then I would go do a deposition. I would light one of them three-hour cigars. I’d have some wine and maybe a Quaalude, and I would just go off, because I don’t believe that he was raping.”

For the record, Cosby has not been charged with a crime and has denied the decades-old allegations of sexual assault and attempted sexual assaults that have surfaced over the past year.

When describing some of the accusers, Wayans went as far to say, “Some of them [are] un-rape-able. I just look at them and go, ‘You don’t want that. Get out of here.'”

Trying to be funny or not, Wayans quickly received heat throughout social media.

After getting so much attention by followers, the 55-year-old decided to clarify his comments on Twitter.

“Stop twisting my words. Watch the entire interview before u condemn me!” hewrote on the site with a video to the whole interview.

He also tweeted a shortened clip that Wayans believes wasn’t featured enough in the media coverage. “For them, my heart goes out to them,” he is shown saying during the Power 105 sit down. “For anybody who has been raped by Bill Cosby, I’m sorry and I hope you get justice.”
