The song which speaks about the unyielding power of love was first heard on the ‘Saturday Lime’, a radio program hosted on the KYSS FM on the weekend.
The gifted singer is the daughter of former Road March King and two time calypso finalist Prince A U Brown. The track was written and produced by Mr. Brown in his recently re-launched Brown’s Mixing Lab Recording Studio, located in Sandy Point, St. Kitts, and is already being labeled a hit.
Khyla said she was thrilled, “I am very excited about this song. Unlike most Dancehall songs that’s rap laced, in this song I am able to showcase my voice. I am a singer by nature and this song is not just about an awesome beat. My talent as a singer is on display in a highly emotional song.”
In a recent interview she told WINN FM’s G-Cue that she loves music of the reggae genre.
Being surrounded by music all her life, it was inevitable that Khyla Sharnell Brown would embrace the music entertainment community.
She has also previously released a reggae cover of Alicia Keys’ “Distance and Time” and is currently promoting her new single.
