This year, the Junior Carnival will be depicting the theme ‘NATIONAL PRIDE’.

Officials have therefore issued a notice to builders, costume designers, visual artistes and all other creative professionals, to get ready for the contest which is about to be launched.

Only three months remain however before the start of the annual festival which usually runs from mid- December to early January.

A number of changes, said officials, will be made to the junior parade this year.

The Children’s Carnival is an annual fixture of National Carnival, giving the nation’s youth a chance to take center stage during the cultural celebrations.
