Following a tally of scores by the judges, Freedom (191 points), Chalice International
(157 points), Vigilante (137 points), Black Stone (135points) has all advanced to the finale which is scheduled to take place on Saturday 4th June at Carnival Village in Basseterre.
Black Panther which attained 120 points were eliminated while DJ Fresh was disqualified due to his absence on the night.
The show was hosted by popular female DJ, Triple S-Sweet Sister Sensia.
As each DJ Sound mixed up a diverse blend music genres, their supporters went wild with excitement.
Apart from the contest side of the event, last Saturday’s round two, party-goers, including the MFest Girls, were seen rocking and grooving to the tunes of all the DJs in an atmosphere which has undoubtedly boosted the excitement for the staging of 15th annual St. Kitts Music Festival (23-25 June).
By the end of the night, there was much talk about which DJ had a better chance of being called the best.
Last weekend’s event created a major hype for the entertainment life on the island and many are now looking forward to see who will emerge as the winner in the finale.
Scheduled to perform on the night of the big finale are Nicha B, SMI, Dymanyzd and the ZIZ Song Competition Winner. Admission is $EC20.
The winner of the Music Festival DJ Sound Clash in addition to pocketing EC$3,000 will receive a trophy, one (1) season pass and 2 season tickets.
Additionally, this top DJ will earn the bragging rights to be called the St. Kitts Music Festival Sound DJ and will get a 20-30 minute performance on the Saturday night of the upcoming 15th annual St. Kitts Music Festival to showcase to the thousands of attendees the exact reason they became the top DJ sound in the federation.
The second place DJ Sound will receive EC$1,000 Trophy, one (1) season pass and one (1) season ticket.
