Documents Worth $5 Million to be reviewed in Stanford Trial

The attorneys say that they will seek a two-year postponement so that they can properly review all the documentary evidence, as well as interview the dozens of potential witnesses.

Stanford, who did much to promote Twenty/20 cricket in the Caribbean, is accused of defrauding customers of his Stanford International Bank based in Antigua and Barbuda of billions of dollars.

He has been denied bail and has a new set of attorneys after he was declared indigent.

The hearing is scheduled for 24th January 2011, when his lawyers will make the application.
