“I think the team’s will to win was the most important asset,” Dr. Drew stated.
He advises the team to keep working hard and not to relax its efforts Dr. Drew is in high praise of the team, coached by Alexis Morris, for having exercised excellent athletic skills throughout the tournament.
“I think that the football team has transformed not only the young players to improve their game but also for them to become better men overall. The spirit of hard work, togetherness and discipline can be carried over to life itself,” he said.
Dr. Drew is of the opinion that the team’s historic win serves as a model example of what determination and dedication could bring about.
“As can be seen, the team’s efforts and victory have lifted the community. It shows that no matter how small you are or how scarce resources are, the most important ingredient to be successful is the will to win. I am extremely happy that I was able to work closely with the team during this time,” he said.
Dr. Drew calls on Conaree FC to dedicate its recent sporting success to the late football coach Steadroy Nolan.
“I admonish the organization to dedicate this one to Steadroy Nolan; a stalwart in Conaree football tradition. May God bless his soul,” he stated.
