According to information reaching this publication, Marvin Ross, a Guyanese who resides on Nevis, lost control of the car he was driving, crashing into a nearby bridge in the New River area.
Miyvue.com understands that the vehicle was badly damaged, and it took a Fire and Rescue team over an hour to have Ross extracted from the vehicle, as the vehicle dangled precariously at the edge of the ghaut. A medical doctor and nurses provided first aid during the lengthy extraction process. It is reported that traffic flow was affected during this period, with vehicles backed up in both directions.
Ross is said to be a worker attached to the Voice of Nevis Radio Station.
