It has been two weeks, since the death of Donavon, from an apparent suicide, on 21st May.
The funeral service will be held at the Catholic Co Cathedral at 1:00pm, before being laid to rest at the Spring Field Cemetery in Basseterre.
The late singer has already received tributes from individuals such as the Prime Minister Dr. Denzil Douglas, Deputy Prime Minister Sam Condor, Leader of the People’s Action Movement, Lindsay Grant, and other members of Parliament, who showed their respect in the last sitting of National Assembly.
Also the President of the St. Kitts Nevis Football Association has also dedicated the Premier Division Final Four Playoffs, in honour of Sadiki’s contribution to football, but sport in general.
The late reggae singer’s funeral is expected to be attended by top dignitaries and leading artistes in reggae, soca and calypso, from throughout St. Kitts and Nevis.
The funeral service of Masud will round up a sombre week in the federation of St. Kitts and Nevis, as it will follow the burial of former Nevisian Premier, Simeon Daniel.
The Family of the late reggae singer has requested the public to honour Maud’s wish of having live flowers only at this burial.
