On Sunday, 14th November 2010, the Federation was stunned and troubled by news that a tour bus which was carrying some 17 tourists, was held up by armed masked men.
Information which was received by MiyVue suggested that while along the road which leads to Brimstone Hill Fortress, the driver disembarked the vehicle to investigate a road blockade, which was when two individuals emerged and committed the unthinkable act. There are no reports of injuries resulting from the incident.
Less than 48 hours later, the authorities indicated that they had persons of interest in their custody who were assisting with the investigations.
MiyVue understands that the men are likely to appear before a court of law shortly.
