Government House has disclosed that the Prince and the Countess will disembark at Port Zante and will be greeted by the Governor General, His Excellency Sir Cuthbert Sebastian, who will introduce the Prime Minister, Dr. Denzil Douglas.
Prime Minister Douglas will then introduce his Federal Cabinet as well as the Premier of Nevis, the Joseph Parry, who will introduce members of the Nevis Island Administration.
Following the inspection of a Guard of Honour, Their Royal Highnesses will meet and greet members of the public at Port Zante.
From there, the Royal Couple will go to the site of the National Park on the Kim Collins Highway, where they will be officially welcomed by Prime Minister Douglas.
The Prince will respond following remarks by Prime Minister Douglas.
During a visit to Brimstone Hill, Prince Edward and Countess Sophie will unveil a plaque.
Former Governor of St. Kitts and Nevis, Sir Probyn Inniss will present a copy of a book and print of the Brimstone Hill Fortress.
The Royal Party will then travel to the Joseph N. France General Hospital where they will visit the Children’s Ward, the Children’s Home and then Government House before returning to the ship.
The Royal Couple will be hosted at a State Dinner by the Governor General, later in the evening.
The Royal couple will also visit Antigua and Barbuda, Barbados, Grenada, Montserrat, St. Lucia, St. Vincent and the Grenadines, Trinidad and Tobago and Gibraltar.
The stop in St. Kitts and Nevis on 3rdMarch by Their Royal Highnesses is part of a Caribbean tour to mark the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee.
