Flemming and Dore capture titles in Carnival Swimwear and Mr GQ shows

Basseterre, St. Kitts, 28th December, 2017 (MyVueNews.com) – Jackiema Flemming and Arundel Dore have won the Sugar Mas 46 National Carnival Swimwear Pageant and the Mr GQ Contest respectively in one of the most exciting shows held at the Sugar Mill at Warner Park.

The 27th December combined show resulted in Swimwear Queen Jackiema, sponsored by National Bank, winning with 875 points, while Arundel captured the Mr GQ title with 1176 points.

In the National Carnival Swimwear Pageant, the 1st runner-up position was taken by Olivia Walters, sponsored by SCASPA, with 828. In 2nd runner-up position is Anita Sullivan, sponsored by Carib Brewery, with 735 points.

The Miss Photogenic award went to Miss SCASPA, Olivia Walters. Miss Amity was won by Miss Carib Brewery, Anita Sullivan, while the Most Popular Contestant online was won by Miss National Bank, Jackiema Flemming. The Chairperson’s Award was presented to Anita Sullivan.

Creative National Pride Swimwear Segment: Olivia Walters

Glitz & Glam Swimwear Segment: Olivia Walters

Identical Swimwear Segment: Jackiema Flemming

Winner of Interview Segment: Jackiema Flemming

In the National Carnival Mr GQ Competition, Mr. Toucan Sounds, Mr GQ Arundel Dore earned his 1176 points with confident performances in various segments. First runner-up went to Danville Francis, Mr. Vallie’s Tent Rental, with 1142 points. David E. Archibald, Mr. Solid Waste Management, secured the 2nd runner-up position with 1131 points.

Best Beach Wear Presentation: Arundel Dore, Mr. Toucan Sounds

Best Costume Presentation: Arundel Dore

Best Performing Talent: Denville Francis, Mr. Vallie’s Tent Rental

Best GQ Wear: Denville Francis

Best Interview: Wricherley Gumbs, Mr National Bank

Other titles were Mr Photogenic, awarded to Wricherley, Most Popular GQ Participant Online, also going to Wricherley, while the Mr Cool title was won by David Archibald.
