The road will therefore be closedto vehicular traffic until road crews who are already on site have completed remedial work.

Buses plying the St. Peters route will be permitted to travel down Victoria Road to the College Street Bus Station and return to St. Peters via Upper Market Street.

The Traffic Department takes this opportunity to remind motorists to be extra cautious when driving during wet weather and to avoid driving through flowing ghauts. Motorists are further advised to refrain from crossing the bridges at the bottom of College and Westbourne Streets, as these bridges are not structurally sound to accommodate the weight of motor vehicles.
