One of the main activities organized in St. Kitts, saw customers across the island benefitting from free medical services. One such free clinic was hosted by the Foundation for National Development Credit Union.
Miyvue.com visited the FND Credit Union, where customers had the opportunity to have their blood pressure check by nurses within the Ministry of Health.
Upon arrival on Thursday morning, people were forming lines, not only to carryout their day to day financial activities with the financial institution, but to get a free medical check up.
Gawain Fraites, Marketing & Project Officer for the credit union, explained that FND used the day, to give back something meaningful to their customers.
“Your health is very important and the FND management treasures its customers and what better way to treat your customers with a free health check,” Fraites stated.
Customers also received light refreshments along with souvenir mugs and pens.
The 2010 International Credit Union Day theme was “Local, Trusted, Serving You.”
