Various folklore troupes were observed making performances in the centre of the capital, with most activity taking place on Fort Street.
Hundreds of visitors, some from visiting cruise ships, in port for the day, and residents, were able to enjoy another day of fun and entertainment, with groups such as the Bull, Masquerade, and Mummies.
Fort Street was closed to vehicular traffic to facilitate the event.
This folklore avenue is part of the National Carnival Committee’s initiative to seriously recognize the folklore groups.
The folklore avenue activities came to an end today, Wednesday, 21st December.
