Liburd who is a teacher by profession has been admitted to the prestigious University of Delhi, where she is pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science.

She is the first of our federation to have been awarded the Indian Council of Cultural Relations BA program scholarship. The scholarship provides tuition, accommodation, airfare and monthly stipend.

Abigail has given the assurance that the experience in Delhi has so far been enlightening and culturally engaging. Her teachers and classmates are enthused by her very presence, as she has been suggested to contest in school elections.

Abigail was fortunate to have also been awarded a scholarship to Taiwan.
