Foul Sent Leads to Decomposed Body Being Found

MiyVue.com understands that after a report was filed, the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force responded at approximately 7:02 p.m.

A press release issued by assistant to the police Press and Public Relations Officer, Sergeant Stephen Hector, informs that when the police arrived on the scene, they conducted preliminary investigations and Lewis’ body – which was in an advanced stage of decomposition – was found in the house.

The release further indicates that Lewis’ remains were reportedly found by a neighbour who had not seen him for days.

Lewis was officially pronounced dead by the District Medical Officer (DMO), Dr. Reginald O’loughlin and permission was given by the coroner to have to body removed from the scene and transported to the mortuary.

The Sergeant indicated in the release that no foul play is suspected at this point, however investigations are ongoing and further analyses are being made and “should it become necessary further information will be forthcoming”.
