Fun and splash expected at the 57th Basil Henderson Aquatic Meet

Speaking with Miyvue.com, Winston ‘Zack’ Nisbett indicated that the 2015 edition would include a volleyball competition for the first time.

“Besides the traditional swimming races, the fetching of the ham and the climbing of the greased pole, and a number of other water sports, a new event this year is beach volleyball, where all will be welcome to participate,” he said.

Nisbett disclosed that the Festival would also commemorate the life and achievement of a venerable patriarch, who gave a lifetime to the 4-H organization, said Nisbett.

Zack, as he is affectionately called, is currently in the process of completing a book on 55 years of Aquatic Sports in St. Kitts, noting that it would be released later in 2015.
