Girlfriend kills boyfriend in St. Peters

Police say they are investigating the fatal wounding of 19 year old Kevon Gordon of Parray’s Village. The incident occurred about 10:30 am.

Initial investigations disclosed that the deceased was involved in a dispute with his girlfriend at the time of the fatal wounding.

During the argument Gordon suffered stab wounds and had to be transported to the JNF Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.

The suspect, Idalia Williams, is in police custody assisting with the investigations.

Commissioner C.G. Walwyn who visited Gordon’s family at the hospital is asking all persons in the Federation to please seek help for domestic issues by contacting the various Social Services for assistance.

The Commissioner extended department condolences to Mr. Gordon’s family during this sad hour in their lives.

The first recorded murder for 2014 was that of Valentine Gaskin who was killed on 9th January, in Upper Cayon, St. Kitts.

In another incident overnight Wayne Ferlance, 37yrs of Fountain Village, Nevis, was at the Enrique’s Bar on Main Street in Charlestown when he alleges that he was attacked by an unknown male assailant. However, police received information to the contrary that he was involved in a verbal altercation with a known male.

Police are currently seeking the location of the known male for questioning. Ferlance received non-threatening oral injuries from a weapon.

Commissioner Walwyn states “that there were other patrons present when this incident occurred. This is not the time to remain silent, please come forward and assist the police with this investigation.” Together, we must put an end to criminal activity in Nevis,” Walwyn said..
